nickel, Kovar and/or stainless steel. We can provide this service economically whether

Electropolishing is an electrolytic method for reducing or eliminating surface
irregularities without the introduction of any polishing compound particles
into the surface. Our electropolishing process is preceded by a standard
degreasing procedure. Pictured is a stainless steel piece, the left part of
which has been electropolished.

- Typical Process:
- Ultrasonic degrease
- Rinse in deionized water
- Vapor degrease (optional)
- Mounting of part in glycerin/H2SO4 bath
- Electropolish strike of 7.5v (@ 80A max.)
- Maintain 1-5A for 10-15 min.
- Rinse in deionized water
- Boil in deionized water (if parts have recesses)
