Pure tungsten fine wire, coated with PVF (Polyvinyl Formal, Formvar®, Vinylec®). PVF forms a tough, transparent plastic film resistant against weathering and chemical attack. Wire is annealed, cleaned and furnished on a 2" spool.

Insulated tungsten wire is available in continuous lengths up to 300'. We can also provide made-to-order filaments / electrodes and general supplies for electron microscopy (please inquire).
