Beeswax (Yellow, Triple-Refined), 2lb block

Two pounds of triple-refined, yellow beeswax. Use with rosin (powdered or any other form) to make traditional beeswax/rosin mixture (a.k.a. "tying wax", "sealing wax" or "pitch"). Applied hot, this pitch makes a good sealant for bell jars and other rigid vacuum joints. Fat can be incorporated if a more flexible seal is required. Other typical applications include crafts and entomology.
