Parts requiring exceptional cleanliness are difficult to degrease using baths of liquid solvents. Vapor degreasing relies on the continuous condensation of a fresh solvent vapor onto the part to avoid contamination. Our process is made as environmentally-friendly as possible by reducing the amount of solvent required to a minimum through the use of a preliminary solvent-free ultrasonic cleaning phase.

• Typical Process:
  • Ultrasonic degrease in solvent-free degreaser
  • Rinse in deionized water
  • Mounting of part in chamber
  • Boil solvent until dripping
  • Maintain for 5-10 minutes
  • Rinse in deionized water
